introduction

If you are experiencing long term issues, like depression, loneliness or loss of desire and meaning, having a place to talk and be listened to in confidentiality may help.

I have been in clinical practice for fifteen years and worked in different settings, charities, the NHS and Brixton Prison. I now practice in Clapham and offer therapy in both French and English.

My training background encompasses both humanistic, psychoanalytic theories and I work with a wide range of contemporary difficulties including anxiety, relationships and depression.

Rather than relying on pills to alleviate symptoms of anxiety or depression I believe that the power of speech in a relationship with a benevolent other can unburden psychic pain. However, our long term relationship with significant others have marked the way we relate to others and to the world. This means that it can take time to feel comfortable speaking in the presence of a therapist.

Other symptoms I can help with:

  • Anger

  • Addiction

  • Anxiety and Panic attacks

  • Sex and sexuality

  • Abuse & domestic abuse

  • Self esteem

  • Relationships

  • Family issues

  • Eating disorders

  • Bereavement and loss

  • Self-harm

  • Problems at work
